The Britney Lowdown

What exactly happened when Britney Spears was taken to hospital? Well, it seems that her youngest son, Jayden James, was also taken to hospital for observation of bruises that were found on his body. Father Kevin Federline took the one-year-old home on Friday morning. The pop princess was taken to Ceders-Sinai, where doctors decided to keep her in for 72-hour observation under the Californian "5150 Hold" law. This was not the case, as Britney left hospital with dad Jamie on Saturday. And when Brit returned home, bad news reached her - she lost all visitation rights she had in regards to her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with the court Commissioner awarding Kev "sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the minor children". The order will be reviewed on January 14th. Experts and doctors have stated that Britney may have a mental disorder, with some claiming bi-polar disorder which has stemmed from untreated post-natal depression.

Britney Taken to Hospital

Pop tart Britney Spears was taken to a Los Angeles hospital yesterday, following a "custodial dispute". Police were called to the singer's home, where they discovered that Spears' two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were supposed to in the custody of their father Kevin Federline. Spears, police noted, was under the influence of an unknown substance. Neighbours say that Spears was seen leaving the property on a guerney.

Paris Hilton hosted the New Year's Eve party at LAX in Las Vegas, with her sister Nicky by her side. New pal Kevin Federline joined the heiress in the DJ booth in the early hours of 2008.

Three of the girls from The Hills were also at a party at LAX in Las Vegas on Sunday night - the night after Paris and Kev met up. Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad partied well into the night without their co-star Heidi Montag.

Paris Hilton and Kevin Federline partied together two nights in a row while in Las Vegas at pre-New Year's parties. The duo were in Vegas to host seperate New Year's Eve parties - Paris' at LAX, Kev's at Tangerine - but the pair met up at LAX on Saturday night, and then at Pure Nightclub on Sunday.
