Talks for a 'Hills' Movie

Lauren Conrad has confirmed rumours that there have been talks to make MTV's hit reality show The Hills into a movie. "We have kind of talked about it," LC told Josh Horowitz of the MTV Movies Blog recently. "I think if they were going to do a film of ‘The Hills’ they would basically film it like we do the show and they would just edit it into a movie. It would be like a really long episode," she said of how a Hills movie would work. But you just have to love Horowitz's closing paragraph, describing what a possible Hills movie would be: 'Think of it. Spencer being an ass on a 30-foot high screen. Whitney falling down a flight of stairs in 3-D. Audrina’s teeth the size of range rovers.' Watch the interview here.

'Hills' Premiere Gets 4.7 Million

The Hills season three bonus eps premiere got the highest ratings out of all the seasons, MTV announced Tuesday. An average of 4.7 million viewers tuned in to see Lauren Conrad burn an Alberta Ferretti gown with a curling iron while in Paris with buddy Whitney Port, Brody Jenner hook up with another chick, and Heidi Montag give Spencer Pratt a deserved kick up the ass. The premiere was the highest rated program across all of TV for viewers aged 12 to 34. An extra 1.8 million streams were recorded on The Hills MTV site by Tuesday.
